The DNC has called for the impeachment of President Trump today following the announcement by several pharmaceutical companies of massive layoffs due to less demand for their products.
The three largest companies in the US announced today the layoff of 80% of their work force. A spokesperson for industry stated because of the successful push by the Trump administration to cure cancer and aids, their products are no longer in high demand.
Further the FDA’s approval of expanding the ongoing test of a genetic cure for Type 1 Diabetes, has further depressed the pharmaceutical stocks and led to the announcement by CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart of job layoffs and pharmacy closings across the nation.
GenCure stock has risen a hundred points at the opening bell on the news.
In a GenCure statement, Shaniqua Jackson, CEO of the company said the aids breakthrough along with the strides in curing Type 1 Diabetes, made it all but certain Type 2 Diabetes would be the next auto-immune disease to fast become a distant memory.
Our own Doctor Peabody, said the long-term implications for the Diabetes cure include up to ten million few cases of strokes and heart attacks each year in the US alone.
California Representative Maxine Waters is leading the charge for impeachment, saying “Such breakthroughs benefit no one, while costing jobs all across the board, form packing clerks and truck drivers, to research scientist.” Former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, concurred, issuing a statement saying “President Trump and the GOP have cost tens of thousands of jobs in hospitals, and nursing homes as people are now healthy and living longer more independent lives.”
Senator Schumer, lamented the number of people opting to pay the fine imposed by the IRS, rather than to pay into ObamaCare for coverage they cannot afford, nor now need. He added that Trump’s call for repeal of Obamacare was enough for him to vote for conviction at impeachment.
Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters are holding a rally tomorrow on the steps of the Capital Building prior to introducing articles of impeachment. They are hoping to draw a large crowd, one big enough to force the GOP in the House to vote for the articles of impeachment.
“It is time,” declared the former speaker, “for the people to stand as one and say enough. We are tired of massive job losses just to save a few million people from the ravages of common diseases, and old age.”
