I
have several projects underway.
The Voyage of the Jules Verne is currently being shopped around, as is, The Sinkhole. Marketing those stories is learning experience all of its own. It helps when an Editor takes the time to say why he or she cannot use the story, and what if anything they found they liked about the submission.
The Sinkhole, is also being expanded into a much larger story, with the current title, Beneath the New Moon. There is a lot of research needed for this to be accurate and readable as Science Fiction.
The Traveler’s Dilemma, is a short that sprang up out of the book Time’s Crossroads, however one need not read the book to understand and follow the story that was born from it.
Time’s Crossroads, was my first real story. Moreover, it suffers all the errors that come with a first. One of my projects is to re-edit and re-publish it at some point. It is good as it stands; the limited reviews are good for a first book. But I have learned so much since, that I feel almost obligated to do the edit and re-publish. Yet, I must be careful as I risk getting into a vicious circle of rewriting and re-editing, when I should be creating new works.
